We are thrilled to announce that Arizona's Family journalist, Jaime Cerreta, will be the Emcee for the 2024 Copper Anvil Awards! Jaime’s deep roots in the Valley of the Sun and her passion for credible storytelling make her the perfect fit for this event.
A true hometown girl, Jaime's journey in journalism began in her childhood. A proud graduate of Chaparral High School and Arizona State University’s Walter Cronkite School of Broadcast Journalism, Jaime has built an impressive career. From her early days as a one-man-band reporter in Joplin, MO, to her current role with Arizona’s Family, she has covered everything from hurricanes to monsoon storms, earning several Emmy Awards along the way.
Jaime’s dedication to her craft and community shines through her passion project, “Jaime’s Local Love,” which spotlights local business owners and their stories of perseverance and dedication.
Whether she’s anchoring weekday evenings or uncovering hidden gems in the community, Jaime’s love for her work and the people of Arizona is evident.
